A Bit of History
This drop, first made in Belgium in 1912, has a deliciously tart, powdery center. In the early 1900s, many fruit drops had left their role as a healthful food and became all about fun. The candy-maker picked the name “Napoleon” after a friend named his candy “Caesar.”
