Junior Mints, a Theater Favorite from the ’40s

Dark chocolate coating and creamy, sweet mint inside make Junior Mints a classic!

A Bit of History

Junior Mints were actually named after Junior Miss, a popular book written by Sally Benson in the 1940s. The candy-makers thought people would identify the candy with the play, and it worked! Junior Miss became a Broadway hit, while Junior Mints became a theater favorite! The owners were brothers- one left and later started the John Birch Society.
