Sweet Memories – Grandma’s Purse
The collection made of memories: the candy grandmas dished out of their purses to give to the children they loved. The ritual began with grandmothers who remembered sugar shortages of the Depression and World War I and II. Candy was hard to find. When it returned, candy was a symbol of affluence, well-being and love. This collection, tucked in a keepsake plastic purse, contains favorites through the ages: Chic-O-Sticks, Lifesavers, Canada Mints, sour balls, Bit ‘O Honey, old time chewing gum and many more. The candies may vary, depending on availability.
