The Chunky, a retro favorite, is back with a generous helping of peanuts and raisins packed in milk chocolate! Price per bar.
A Bit of History
The Chunky was introduced in the late 1930s by New York City candy maker, Philip Silvershein, a friend of William Wrigley. Wrigley distributed the candy until 1984, when the Nestle company bought it out. Originally, the bar contained cashews, chocolate, raisins and Brazil nuts. Today it contains chocolate, raisins and peanuts… ironically a typical combination for early candy bars.
