Comes in a glass bottle with a brief history and Biblical verse on a label and tag. 4.5 fluid ounces.
A Bit of History
The Biblical term for honey, “dvash”, usually referred to a thick grape, fig or date syrup rather than honey from bees. The most prevalent fruit in the Bible, grapes symbolized fertile land & Israel’s joyous covenant with the Lord. The grape syrup has long been known for its flavor and medicinal and health value.
“In my dream, behold, there was a vine in front of me; and on the vine were three branches. And as it was budding, its blossoms came out, and its clusters produced ripe grapes.” Gen. 40:10
