A Bit of History
The candy bowl became popular with women who survived the two world wars and the Great Depression. During these events, sugar was hard to come by. Once it was available, candy became a symbol of affluence and well-being and found a home in candy bowls everywhere. This bowl, actually made of candy, is a representation of those the candy bowls of the past.
